Court: Severance Allowances Morally Wrong
A recent judgment of the Court of Appeal declaring the payment of severance allowances to elected or appointed public office holders, including former governors and their deputies morally wrong, is just what is needed to stop the social injustice.
Recall that former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva acquired 48 mansions in Abuja which were seized by EFCC during PDP regime and returned back to him when his PARTY APC won the ELECTION.
Recall that former Governor of Akwa Ibom acquired N108bn which is still pending in court.
The truth is that the Governors have the IMMUNITY to loot as much as they could without being probed.
