Votes are being counted in South Africa’s election, with President Cyril Ramaphosa hoping to prevent a slide in support for the governing African National Congress (ANC).
With results declared in some 70% of districts, it has won about 57% of the ballot, well ahead of the opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) on 22%.
The ANC took 62% at the last general election in 2014.
The major lesson was on the formidable party structure unlike Nigeria where the President and few Cabal determine what happen to the entire country.
When ANC observed that they might lose the election because President Jacob Zuma has failed INTEGRITY test; he was quickly asked to step down.
In Nigeria, even it was obvious that President Buhari has failed the
INTEGRITY test; the same Cabal want him for the 2nd Tenure at all costs including human lives.
That’s why the scheduled Presidential Election on 16th February 2019 was postponed barely three hours to the election irrespective of cost implications.
The Presidential election of 23rd February was characterized by killings; military intimidation, snatching of ballot boxes and deferred announcement of results to perfect the rigging.
