Chelsea are booed off, which is a bit harsh. They played pretty well and should have won, but Joe Hart made three excellent saves and the substitute Javier Hernandez scored an emphatic equaliser.
West Ham are now six points clear of the relegation places, and should have more than enough to stay in this division.
Chelsea were well in control and should have added to Cesar Azpilicueta’s first-half opener. But through a combination of profligacy and Joe Hart’s brilliance they failed to.
West Ham offered little, until super substitute Javier Hernandez netted just minutes after coming on and for a period it looked as if the Hammers would take all three points.
It finishes 1-1 though. Big point for West Ham in their battle for survival – frustrating day at the office for Conte and Chelsea.
