Harry Kane scored a dramatic last-gasp penalty for Tottenham to seal a point against Liverpool in an incredible finale at Anfield.
Mo Salah opened scoring for Liverpool in the third minute after latching on to Eric Dier’s mis-placed pass, and there were few other chances between the teams in the first half.
Spurs finally found equaliser in the 80th minute when Victor Wanyama’s thunderbolt left Loris Karius with no chance – and the visitors later had a great chance to take the lead, but Kane’s poor effort was saved.
Liverpool then thought that had the win when Salah scored a fine solo goal but there was to be more drama. Virgil van Dijk fouled Erik Lamela and Kane this time found the back of the net from the spot.
